Meet the Honey Bee's
Whole Wheat & Honey Café is a prominent fixture in the heart of this community. What started as an idea became a reality with many helping hands from friends, family and supporters building this business from the ground up. “We’re proud of the special place we share with our community,” said Catherine Ruddell, general manager of the café, “we are located at the very origins, the epicenter of the original settlement of Fort St. John at 100th St and 100th Ave.”
Both management and staff are pleased with the ongoing popularity and success of the special place that Whole Wheat & Honey Café owner Marie Mallis originally created as a quick stop for homemade food for her friends working in the oil patch. It has grown and evolved into the warm and inviting café serving premium espresso beverages along with healthy breakfast and lunch options for busy locals and visitors that you see today.
