Meet Diane Chorney
Diane first visited Fort St. John 15 years ago and didn’t intend to stay. “But work was plentiful, there was a good college nearby for me to continue my courses, and my daughter was close by at that time,” explained Diane. She liked Fort St. John right away because of its small town environment that still had all the services and activities. Diane met her husband in Fort St. John and admits they are happily “lifers” in Fort St. John now.
Diane enjoys the activities that summer brings – the yard work, the gardening and camping too. She appreciates that she has a great group of friends in Fort St. John and that her community offers activities for everyone. “Whatever you want to do you can do it,” said Diane, citing the successful summer music festival and the annual winter festival. Diane is active with the Rotary Club and assists in their annual fundraiser too.
